The Therepsine Sun Coif pre-dates the Age of Isolation, though by how long is unknown. It is viewed as sacred within Therepsy, and is primarily used in a ceremonial context by modern Thereps. It is often worn and traded as normal armour by non-Thereps, a practice that is highly frowned upon within the church. If a non-Therep is seen wearing one by a member of the church, they may be accosted or even attacked; like with the Therep Great Sabre or other items considered sacred.
